Both endpoints speak standard JSON-RPC over HTTPS and WebSocket, so ethers, viem and web3.py need no code changes. Everything we add is additive.

Yes, on dedicated tiers. Archive is required for historical state at past blocks — though for stock tokens you also need the multiplier series, which no archive node provides.
