This is the test that separates providers. Request a wallet's value at a block before a corporate action and check whether the multiplier applied is the one from that block or from today.

If you only need RPC, self-hosting is viable — Robinhood publishes the Nitro image and Chainstack will manage it. What self-hosting does not give you is the multiplier series, the tape, or corporate-action lifecycle, which is where the work actually is.
